Day Two | Exceptional Grocery Stores and Impressive Parking Garages

After my amazing sleep, I woke up to a delicious breakfast!

(Random Rumble) Gluten Free food isn’t as bad as people think it is. .

After breakfast we headed out to look at some shops and I went into Davids Tea for the first time and purchased a few nice holiday teacups short and stout. Then we tried this burger place (The Burger’s Priest” that my friend was raving about. The food there was good. The burgers were similar to Shake Shack (but saltier). The fries and vanilla malt milkshake was BOMB!

side note: I’m becoming this huge milkshake fan now

After lunch and dropping off a friend at the airport, we headed to the grocery store to get food to prepare for dinner.

Listen. .

I’m one of those people who loves grocery shopping because I love food and it’s especially nice to walk through a grocery store if it is aesthetically appealing and clean. That being said, the Canadian grocery store, Loblaws is probably the best thing ever.

I don’t know how to explain it so here are some photos I found:

Fancy, yes?
I took these photos:

I think what makes this place so awesome is the orange floors and lighting! It really wakes you up and makes you happy to be buying food although I’m already happy buying food.
After our delicious dinner we went to this über classy mall called Yorkdale.
Now it wasn’t the high end stores and ongoing book signing for this fashion mogul that impressed me. not at all.
What did impress me was something so simple yet so perfect.
Everyone pull up a seat and let me tell you a little something:

Yorkdale mall is WINNING because of their parking system and I’m going to tell you how.
Not only is this place spic-and-span but they have some state of the art, vault-type of parking lot that informs drivers of how many lots are available for parking electronically. EVEN BETTER? There are these suspicious bulb things that are above each parking spot and they give off a light that indicates if the parking spot is occupied (red), if it is a wheelchair lot (blue) and if it is available (green). Talk about hassle free parking!
We also stopped into the bookstore (which is really nice) but I didn’t purchase anything because books were more expensive up there. I do have some books that I have to get into thanks to Myleik Teele.
So that was mostly my second day just doing what I do best – exploring and taking in the city.
Next up: Day 3 a.k.a. BEST RAMEN EVER!!
