Good morning, world!
I had a pretty active week (physically) and think I may have settled on a workout schedule that works for me. I’m pretty excited about it! Keep your fingers crossed for me that I will be consistent with it!
Also, in last week’s post, I mentioned I wanted to start making a schedule for my blog posts and I’m happy to say I have
sort of a set schedule for myself. It’s very rough and keeps getting changed around, but I have a clearer idea of what posts I want to put up. So be on the lookout for more content that’s more than a weekly recap.
I hate running. It’s definitely not my forte and I would much rather lift weights or something. Despite my feelings, I wanted to incorporate interval running into my workout routine because I’ve read how good it is for your body and heart. If I’m being honest, I really just wanted to feel good and clear my head and I know running is one of those things that will do that for you for sure. So I downloaded the very popular C25k app and successfully completed the workouts for the week. and you know what?
It wasn’t even that bad!
When it comes to running or any exercise for that matter, It’s something I absolutely dread, but you just gotta show up. So as soon as I get into the house I change and get the 30 minutes of exercise over with and it’s DONE. Here’s hoping the 2nd week will go just as smoothly as the first!
Highs + Goals
+ A highlight of my week is how great I felt after my workouts and getting a package from home with my coats and boots. It’s getting cooler here so I’m happy to be prepared when things really hit the fan!
+ A goal I have for this coming week is to do some more practice with flat lays. A few weeks ago I bought this white foam board to take flat lays on and it’s still in it’s bag! I definitely need to get it together and start experimenting.
What are some highlights from your week and a goal you have for this coming week? Do you have a workout schedule you’re excited about? What was something new that you tried? Let me know in the comments below!
